Joint Aviation Authorities Private Pilots Licence
(JAA PPL)
This licence allows you to fly outside British airspace and carry more than 3 passengers and is considered to be the first step on the way to obtaining commercial qualifications.
The requirements are a minimum of 45 hours of flying and you can count up to 30 hours of previous flying experience towards meeting this requirement.
The medical requirements are more stringent than those required for the NPPL and we will be happy to assist you with any enquiries that you may have.
Lessons can be arranged to suit your personal commitments, you may spread the course over 18 months or select a more intensive approach.
